Julietta Curenton has established herself as a leading flute soloist, chamber musician, professor and clinician. She is an international prize winner and has appeared as guest soloist with the National and Baltimore symphonies, the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, among others. Julietta is the Assistant Professor of Flute at the Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia and is frequently a commissioner of music written by women and African American composers - groups she believes are often marginalized in the classical music space.
